Welcome to the Inman Motor Works Community Website. Built in the 1930s, the Inman Motor Works was first home to an engine-repair company. In the early 1990s, the industrial property was purchased by Henry Finkbeiner and John Ayers (of J.W. Ayers Plumbing). They spent about $700,000 developing the first 26 rental-units with 15 different floor plans and eventually added more. On August 7, 1997, the rental lofts were converted into condominiums and the Inman Motor Works Condominium Association was formed. The condominium is divided into four (4) buildings containing thirty four (34) separate units, common elements and limited common elements.
